In December Mayor Amicone joined project managers from the nationally renowned Forest City Ratner Company for a behind the scenes look at the progress of Yonkers Ridge Hill Village. Construction of the visionary mixed-use development is well underway as workers from local construction company Yonkers Contracting transform this 81 acre site into 12 blocks of elegant shopping and dining, with 600 state of the art residences, contemporary office buildings and picturesque public spaces.

Set to open in 2011, the shopping destination will feature anchor stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Whole Foods, Cinema DeLux as well as Ann Taylor Loft, the Cheesecake Factory, L.L. Bean, New York & Company and Sephora.  Read more facts about Ridge Hill here.
