Mayor Phil Amicone is pleased to kick off the holiday season by announcing upcoming city and neighborhood tree lighting celebrations and other holiday festivities. The City of Yonkers Annual Tree Lighting Celebration in Getty Square, sponsored by the Downtown Waterfront Business Improvement District and the City's Department of Parks, will take place tomorrow, Thursday, December 3 at 4:00 p.m. and will include performances by the 2009 Yonkers Idols and the Westchester Christmas Chorale.
