The Murray Skating Center offers hockey programs for all ages and levels of ability. Beginner players to adult and travel youth hockey players can all find a program to suit the needs at The Murray Skating Center.

HOCKEY CLINIC

Players can get a great start in our Instructional Ice Hockey Clinic. Participants meet every Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 6:15pm. Players are grouped according to ability and experience and given instruction in all ice skating and hockey skills. Each session concludes with a short scrimmage. The twenty-nine week program is pro- rated and players may join at any time until the program becomes filled. Full hockey equipment is required of all participants.

Aspiring players with no skating experience are encouraged to enroll in our group ice skating lesson program prior to joining the hockey clinic.

IN-HOUSE RECREATIONAL LEAGUES

Beginner and novice players participate in one of two age groups. A fourteen year old and under or a ten year old and under program are available to accommodate a wide range of age groups. The program begins with a series of pre-season instructional workouts during which players receive basic skills instruction and are evaluated and placed on teams. Teams play a regular season schedule of games and general practices that extend through the end of March. There is no body checking allowed in this recreational program. Full equipment is required to participate.
